Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching while at work, and also attending practice sessions for plays. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was an infant. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, they married in 2009. After she had converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the series was returning in production. Fourth season debuted on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its growing popularity on social networks has gained a significant online fan base.
